UPDATE 5/7/2023: WOW! WOW! WOW! Thank you so much for supporting Noah and the Diamond family! YOU have helped me raise $5,000 and I will continue to donate profits from this collection until all pieces are sold out.
Community + Small Business = IMPACT :)
This is a personal story as well as the story of a young family putting all of their energy toward saving their son Noah, who is just 3 years old.
Kristen Diamond is Noah's mom. She and I have worked together at two different education technology companies over the past decade. Kristen is a sweet soul full of positive energy and I have witnessed her dreams come true from marrying her best friend Nick, to starting her family with two adorable boys. In January, my heart sank as she shared the heavy news of Noah being diagnosed with Sanfillipo syndrome. This is a rare childhood disease, yet she is the second friend I have who has had this directly impact a child in their family.
In March, the Diamond family took to social media and asked for people to 'Plunge for a Cure', both raising awareness of Sanfilippo and money toward their goal of $100,000 - which is the amount of money needed to fund a clinical trial.
As an individual I felt a bit hopeless, and then I thought of all of YOU - my Inspired Jules community. I started Inspired Jules to offer jewelry that helps people connect to special moments & memories, while celebrating women and sisterhood. I realized my brand has the power to multiply impact and do so much good for others. Together I know we can raise $3,000 for Noah and his fight against Sanfilippo. Will you help me, help Noah? 100% of profits will go directly toward my goal of $3,000 and ultimately to the Diamond family.
I have put together a collection of bracelets inspired and designed with Kristen, Noah's Mom. Each one has special meaning and I hope you will take a moment to read the descriptions. If you would like to learn more about the Diamond family, please see their February 2023 story from KOMO news in Seattle.
Thank you for helping me raise $3,000 to support the Diamond family, and their 3 year old son Noah.
